Gaelic Football Lunchtime Leagues
We are currently running a lunchtime gaelic football league for pupils from 2nd to 6th class who would like to participate. Pupils have been divided into six teams named after counties. The counties are Kerry, Westmeath, Mayo, Dublin, Offaly and Kildare.
Players are asked to take responsibility for bringing their gear in on the days they are due to play. If games are cancelled due to poor weather etc. teams will play on the next available day.

Scoring System
1. A team that wins receives 4 points. A team that draws receives 2 points. A team that loses receives 0 points.
2. If a team loses by 7 points or less they will receive a bonus point. Example: If Kerry loses by 5 points to Dublin, even though they’ve lost they’ll get a bonus point because they lost by less than 7 points.
3. If any team scores 10 points or more in a game by putting the ball over the bar they’ll receive a bonus point (including a team that loses a game but who scored 10 points over the bar).
4. A MAXIMUM of 5 goals can be scored by a team in one game.
